About This Tea

Ingredients: Sample Bag 6 grams (2-4 Servings) of Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, Nettle Leaf, Marshmallow Root, Red Clover Leaf and Flower, Alfalfa Leaf, Peppermint Leaf, Licorice Root, Ginger Root, Calendula Flower. Available in 10 & 20 Cups (10 Cups = 23 Grams and 20 Cups = 46 Grams).
Instructions: In a poured 8 oz cup of boiled water, steep 1 tablespoon of loose tea in a tea bag or mesh strainer for 3-5 minutes.
Taste: sweet and pleasant
Medicinal Uses:
Calendula– Also known as Marigold, this is one of the most commonly-used and influential ingredients in Western medicine. May act as an anti-inflammatory, muscle spasm relief, and is commonly used to heal both external and internal wounds and infections. (Caution: May cause allergic reactions in rare cases.)
Burdock– This root is high in protein and creates positive health changes in the body when used on a steady basis. It helps with athletic recovery and is an antibacterial and antifungal. Native to Europe and England. Cleans the blood, lowers blood sugar, improves digestion, mild laxative, kills bacteria and fungus, reduces fever, and fights infection.
Dandelion– This weed holds the key to vitamins and minerals. The root is a diuretic, liver cleanser, and detoxifier. As where the leaves and root make an excellent digestive tonic and mild laxative. It is native to Europe and China. Helps aid water retention, treats hepatitis and jaundice, stabilizes mood swings, prostate cleaning, and helps dissolve urinary stones. (Caution: Do not use this herb if a rash develops, discontinue use. Some people are sensitive to the milky substance that lives in the flowers and stems.)
Marshmallow–Antiaging, anti-inflammatory, this herb is native to China and Europe. Protects the respiratory tract, soothes intestinal lining, treats colitis and diverticular disease, reduces internal and external swelling, assists in urinary tract troubles, strengthens kidneys, and lowers blood sugar. (Caution: This root may slow the absorption of nutrients and / or other medications. Consult with your doctor if you are taking medications before using this herb.)
Nettle: Known for its stinging quality. It does, however, hold amazing medicinal properties. It is a circulatory stimulant, blood tonic, antiseptic, astringent, an antidepressant, and diuretic. It grows wild in hiking and camping areas so be careful encountering fresh nettle for it can leave a painful rash.
Red Clover– Red clover is a honeybee’s true love and for good reason. Red clover is rich in minerals and vitamins. Native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. Aids in respiratory recuperation, a benefit to treating menopause symptoms, and rids the body of excess estrogen, which is one of the leading agents that can cause cancer. (Caution: This herb is a natural blood thinner, so it is best not to use it with other blood thinning medication. For medical surgeries, discontinue use of this herb 3-4 weeks prior to any scheduled procedure.)
Ginger– Native to China and an antiseptic. Ginger increases blood flow and circulation, beneficial for colds, congestion, and chills, lowers blood sugar and cholesterol, stimulates digestive enzymes, has an overall calming effect, and lowers blood pressure.
