About This Tea
This is great for anxiety and will cheer you up.
Ingredients: Sample Size 6 grams (2-4 servings) of Valerian Root, Lemon Balm, Hawthorn, Yerba Mate, Hops, & Chamomile. Available in 10 & 20 Cups (10 Cups = 10 Grams and 20 Cups = 20 Grams).Â
Instructions: In a poured 8 oz cup of boiled water, steep 1 tablespoon of loose tea in a tea bag or mesh strainer for 3-5 minutes.
Taste: herbal, earthy
Medicinal Uses:
Hawthorn Leaf and Flower– This herb is a relaxant, heart tonic, astringent, diuretic, and antispasmodic. Native to North Africa, Hawthorn increases circulation, stabilizes blood pressure, combats anemia, and tones the heart. (Caution: If taking heart medication, please consult with your doctor before using.)
Lemon Balm– This wild herb is fast growing and packs a sweet-smelling punch. It resembles peppermint to smell and is an antiviral and antibacterial. It is a digestive stimulant, antidepressant, and nerve tonic. Lemon balm is native to southern Europe. It also assists in allergy relief, aids respiratory healing, relieves tension and anxiety, mood shifting, stress-related disorders, and promotes calming. (Caution: Do not use this herb without speaking with an herbalist first if you suffer from low thyroid function (Hypothyroidism).)
Yerba Mate– This herb has energizing properties helping to increase metal focus and clarity. It is also known for boosting your metabolism while fighting fatigue and combating obesity. It is a rejuvenator, aperient, and purgative. You can use Yerba Mate for energy, spine, and a nerve tonic. Other facts are it is a stimulant, diuretic, laxative, and astringent.
Valerian Root– This herb is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. It is great to add into a blend for high blood pressure. Native to both Asia and Europe.
