Heatwave Lettuce Mix Seeds (Lactuca sativa)
This vibrant mix of red and green oakleaf and bibb-type lettuces is specially selected for excellent performance in hot weather—ideal for fresh summer salads. Varieties include Grand Rapids, Prize head, Merveille des Quatre Saisons, Royal Oak Leaf, and Bronze Arrow.
Direct sow in the garden starting about 4 weeks before your last frost and continue planting in successions through summer and into fall. While it thrives in full sun, this mix also tolerates partial shade, especially during hot spells.
Baby greens are ready to harvest in approximately 30 days.
