Medicinal Uses:
Hibiscus– Native to Southeast Asia and North Africa, hibiscus is a soothing tea ingredient that may act as a mild sedative, help ease fevers, and help soothe sore or inflamed digestive and respiratory tracts.
Bee Pollen – Fun fact. When our busy little bees collect nectar from flowers, their legs are coated with pollen. That pollen turns into yellow granules and is collected each time a bee passes through a screen upon entering the hive. Bee pollen has high levels of energy and is packed full of vitamins A, E, D, C, and B. It is a protein, amino acid, antioxidant and carries minerals like potassium, iron, calcium, and magnesium. It is good for liver health as well.
Rose– Often described as a very romantic flower, the rose is a great source of essential oils which may help reduce high cholesterol levels, as well as acting as a mild astringent and may help soothe inflamed or sore eyes. May also act as an anti-inflammatory and antidepressant.
Cinnamon–Native to Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, and Burma. Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antifungal. Cinnamon is a great spice to warm you up on a chilly day. It is commonly known as a flavoring agent for baking and cooking. Medical uses may include Digestive aid, anesthetic, and killing harmful bacteria.
Cardamom– Native to India, Asia, and China. This herb is an antibiotic and antifungal. Great for tonics. Historical uses include appetite loss, bronchitis, colds, colic, congestion, cough, headache, infection (bacterial, fungal, and viral), and fever.
