This is a floral tea made to remind you of the spring season.
Ingredients: Sample Size 6 grams (2-4 servings) of Nettle Leaf, Fennel Seed, Lemongrass, Spearmint, Calendula Flowers, Peppermint, Red Clover, Lavender, and Blue Vervain. Available in 10 & 20 Cups (10 Cups = 16 Grams and 20 Cups = 32 Grams).Â
Instructions: In a poured 8 oz cup of boiled water, steep 1 tablespoon of loose tea in a tea bag or mesh strainer for 3-5 minutes.
Taste: minty
Medicinal Uses:
Nettle: Known for its stinging quality. It does, however, hold amazing medicinal properties. It is a circulatory stimulant, blood tonic, antiseptic, astringent, an antidepressant, and diuretic. It grows wild in hiking and camping areas so be careful encountering fresh nettle for it can leave a painful rash.
Lemon Grass– Insect repellent, aromatic, stimulant. Good for colds, colic, cramps, abscess, digestive complaints, bladder problems, insect bites or stings, kidney and liver problems, dizziness, and fever. May aid in reduced blood pressure and calm the nervous system.
Calendula– Also known as Marigold, this is one of the most commonly-used and influential ingredients in Western medicine. May act as an anti-inflammatory, muscle spasm relief, and is commonly used to heal both external and internal wounds and infections. (Caution: May cause allergic reactions in rare cases.)
Peppermint Leaf– Not only is peppermint delicious…it is also an antispasmodic, antiseptic, anesthetic, astringent, analgesic, and diaphoretic. Peppermint helps to relieve nausea and seasickness, Helps IBS symptoms, aids in hangovers, decreases flatulence, numbs abdominal pain, calms, restore, and lends clarity, relieves toothaches and headaches, clears throat and bronchial tubes and boosts energy.
Lavender Flower– This beautiful purple flower not only smells lovely, but it also holds many beneficial health benefits. It is an analgesic, relaxant, and nerve tonic. Lavender can be used to reduce tension headaches, calming, treating insomnia, and it relieves stress, anxiety, and depression. (Caution: Lavender is safe but pregnant women should avoid drinking tea with lavender in large quantities.)
